Clavulanic Acid(125mg)

TYPICAL USAGE

Clavulanic acid is used to increase the effect of certain antibiotics (amoxicillin) to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract, ear, nose, sinus and throat, skin and soft tissues, bone and joints, and to prevent infections after surgery.

SIDE EFFECTS

* Very Common: Diarrhea. * Common: Fungal infections, urge to vomit, and vomiting. * Uncommon: Dizziness, headache, indigestion, skin rash or itching (pruritis, urticaria), increase in liver enzymes (AST, ALT). * Rare: Decrease in blood cells (leucopenia, thrombocytopenia), allergic skin reaction due to medicine, infection or illness (erythema multiforme).
